We are the Milton Keynes and District Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is primarily a 5 mile walk but is also an introduction to becoming a Walk Leader with the Ramblers. I will explain what is involved in putting on a walk and how to complete the training run by the Ramblers Association. The walk will start from outside the Sul Lago Restaurant beside Furzton Lake and will follow the Tattenhoe Valley Brook and through Howe Wood then returning through Emerson Valley to Furzton Lake. The walk is easy going, mainly on paths and it will be possible to buy a coffee in Howe Wood café or bring your own refreshments. Please park in the large carpark beside Sul Lago Restaurant but not in the smaller carpark close to the restaurant or you will be charged. Postcode is MK5 8AA.
