A walk through the Winslow area offers a glimpse into the charm of rural life encompassing picturesque villages, beautiful churches, a hitherto disused railway line soon to be resurrected back to life and manor houses and other historic buildings, providing a glimpse into the area's rich past.

Park Elmfields Gate car park and then walk through car parks at Elmfields Gate and Greyhound Lane to the start of the walk at the Greyhound Lane public toilet. The car park on Elmfields Gate is free at the time of writing, although charges may be introduced in summer 2025. A charge of £1.70 for all day parking on Sunday now applies to the Greyhound Lane car park.
