Overview

All are welcome on this walk exploring the history, parks and woodlands around Dulwich and Forest Hill, with fabulous views over central London. We walk down London's last toll road (horses cost 3d but people and dogs go free) past Dulwich College, then into the pretty park where we will stop for lunch (please bring a snack as cafe will be busy).  We then continue with a bit of road walking into the Horniman Gardens and One Tree Hill for fine London views.  We return via the Horniman Gardens and Sydenham/Dulwich wood.  Toilets are available towards the beginning and end of the walk.  Please note: there are hills and steps, and some paths may be muddy and uneven underfoot, so please bring suitable footwear. Direct trains available from Bromley South and Orpington.
