Overview

This is a 6.5-mile circular walk at Leisurely pace, 2.5 miles mph or less.

We will walk from Ivinghoe across fields, with views of  the NT Pitstone Windmill to reach Pitstone. We then head towards the church, through the local Nature Reserve towards Folly Farm and across Folly Bridge and on to the Grand Union Canal, which we will follow to Marsworth with its pretty church and here we will stop for our picnic lunch.
Please bring food and drink.
We then rejoin the canal tow path , to reach Seabrook Swing Bridge. This is one of the few Public Footpaths to cross  the canal this way. We then walk through woods, to reach the northern edge of Ivinghoe and come back into the High Street  to our start point.

There are good views of Pitstone Hill and Ivinghoe Beacon on this walk, but the walk itself is very flat. It may be muddy, particularly on the tow path after rain.

There is 1 stile.

Well controlled dogs are allowed.

If desired there should be an opportunity for refreshments in the cafe after the walk
