A Ramblers group that organises more than 350 walks per year that are accessible to people in the Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire area.
An urban exploration visiting Porter Valley, Botanical Gardens, Bramall Lane, Cholera Memorial, Norfolk Park, Brincliffe Edge
The walk is mainly on hard surfaces with a couple of short unpaved sections so trainers are suitable unless we get some wet weather.
The route takes us through several parks and open spaces with some urban areas. There are lots of interesting features en-route including 2 Jarvises, 3 bears, lots of murals, David Attenborough , Marilyn Monroe and (if we are lucky) a kingfisher.
Park considerately on nearby roads and meet at junction of Ecclesall Road and Knowle Lane
