Joining East Surrey Walkers on Walk from Friday Street (Moderate, 10 miles, 13th August)

Sue H of East Surrey Walkers, who often walks with us, is co leader on an East Surrey Walkers walk led by Alan Q.  She has  invited us to join them.

Start at Friday Street car park, Map 145 and 146. Walk starts at Friday Street and wanders down to Wotton, over the A25 past the church, make our way to the Wilberforce Memorial, and onwards to the Roughs Nature Trail, followed by having to cross the A25 at Abinger Hammer, then pick up several paths to make our way past the  Volunteer Pub (which is closed). We go past the Holmbury Youth Hostel and on through to Holmbury St Mary then a steep ascent up into woodland and onwards to the finish.
