Walk (west) along the old railway line and into the perimeter of Westhay wood.

About 8 stiles.

Quiet roads, woodland and arable fields. One 50yd stretch on a verge near a busy road.

The arable fields were quite heavy going and highland cattle in one field so dogs on short leads please.

Parking at KC Active on the northern edge of King’s Cliffe next to the Primary School. APPROACHING FROM THE EAST (A47) - From Park Street turn into Wood Road and as Wood Road bends left after less than 50 yards or so, carry straight on into Station Road. APPROACHING FROM THE WEST (A43 or Blatherwycke) – as you enter Kings Cliffe (jus past Wood Lane junction) take the left fork onto Wood Road. Go straight over the mini roundabout. Turn left into Station Road as Wood Road does a sharp right hand bend. BOTH – Follow Station Road as it bends left to form Kingsmead. Follow the road past the King’s Cliffe brewery. The road bends right and leads into the car park. Please Park at the bottom end of the car park near the entrance.
