We'll venture into Northamptonshire for this scenic walk, just a few miles beyond Stamford.
Stone villages and gently rolling countryside, with some historical surprises along the way.

Car Park at KC Active Leisure Centre, Kingsmead, Station Road, Kings Cliffe, PE8 6YH. Directions to location: Soon after reaching Kings Cliffe village from east (passing under disused railway bridge) take the second right turn onto Station Road (following sign for KC Active). DO NOT FOLLOW when road soon bends left into Wood Road housing, but fork right at corner (straight ahead and slightly uphill) onto Kingsmead (don't worry about sign showing no through road). Continue along Kingsmead, following signs for KC Active, pass some small business units then turn right into large parking area for KC Active leisure centre. Park away from leisure centre buildings, near entrance to car park.
