Overview

A 7.5 mile walk from Kings Worthy via Burnt Wood to explore Itchen Valley Footpath 45.  This footpath involves a walk along a grass verge by the A33, so an alternative route along a farm track has been in common use for a least 40 years (I first walked it in 1985!).  I helped to collect evidence for regular use and a New Path claim was submitted to HCC in January 2019 - see weblink, Ref 1243 - that is still awaiting investigation.

We will stop for drinks and picnic lunch at suitable locations.

No booking required.
