We walk through Kinver and join the canal for about 2 miles, experiencing the short Dunsley tunnel, an aqueduct and view the river Stour and sandstone outcrops with a bat cave. We experience the peaceful Million woods and a variety of fields and tracks on the way back to Kinver.
Underfoot for the most part is on good good tracks but there is some mud. Ascents amount to just 600ft and inclines are gradual. There are very few stiles. There is a short ~100m stretch of road where we MUST walk single file with great care.
After the walk, those who wish to can join us at Ashwood Nurseries Tea Room, just off the A449 North of Stourton. ///cooking.huts.waffle DY6 0AE. We have not reccied the tea room but it looks good.
