Figure of 8 walk. First walk is 4 miles, a circular walk from Knettishall Heath across Knettishall air field, into Knettishall village, into Gasthorpe village and back along the Angles Way. We will be passing Knettishall Hall where Princess Diana went to school. There are lovely views on this walk. The second walk is 1 and 1/2 miles around the pretty Heath. More lovely views and Exmoor ponies.
This walk may be muddy in parts.
Park and meet at Knettishall Heath Country park. Car parking about £3. Parking can’t be paid with cash. Bank cards can be used at the machine or a phone call can pay for parking. There is some free parking on the road too.
