Overview

A mix of forest walking and field-edge walking, with some lane-walking too. The circular route takes in parts of the Angles Way, Peddars Way and Icknield Way. Route is mostly flat so is relatively easy, though may be muddy in parts. Two stiles.

The car park is next to the Little Ouse river, which is the boundary between Norfolk and Suffolk. The walk also goes close to the River Thet.

See one of the schools that Princess Diana attended.

Possibly see Exmoor ponies without going to the West Country - the ponies are on Knettishall Heath.

Park at Knettishall Heath Nature Reserve car park. Parking costs £2.50 for all day, and is payable by card or RingGo app only (Cash payment NOT accepted). There are toilets in the car-park.
