Circular walk of 8.5 miles starting from Knowle Green Village Hall.
Knowle Green is a quiet village now, but has an industrial past with several mills. The mills are now gone but some evidence exists in derelict buildings and private homes. The walk starts by following a stream where the mills were before continuing to Ribchester via Stydd Manor and the Bath House. Returning to Knowle Green along the Ribble Way, farmland and back along the stream.
Note: some difficult stiles and muddy area's. Consider taking a stick. One particular spot is muddy with a slope and close to brambles.
