Lacey Green -Pre AGM

Some level walking at a leisurely pace but there is a steady climb uphill to get back to Lacey Green at the end. 

The hall will not be open at the start and there are no toilets available.

This is a Pre AGM walk for CWW but all are welcome on the walk.

We walk from the village hall along the main road towards the windmill and turn down to Loosely Row to join the Chiltern way with lovely views ahead. Passing over the A4010 and across fields we cross the railway line and down through the golf course. Our path heads towards Lodge hill and then turns down an enclosed path to the road. We will stop here for a lunch break. Bring something to sit on as the grass may be damp. After re-crossing the A4010 there is a high stile to cross. If this proves difficult then it would possible to walk up the parallel road, Little Lane and meet the main group at the top, but arrangements have been made to improve the stile before the walk. We pass by the forge on the main route with some interesting iron works, before climbing back towards the village hall. We should arrive back with time to change boots and get into the hall for refreshments before the meeting.

Bring a packed lunch

Well behaved dogs are allowed.
