Overview

Starting from the National Trust car park. An interesting walk through this   quintessential English village then across fields alongside the Wilts and Berks canal (being restored) before a short climb through Hazel Copse to Ash Hill farm. Then dropping back down the lane to Laycock.

The car park is free to National Trust members otherwise £4.50.  Several of us have two membership cards so if every member brings their cards we may have enough for everybody to park free.

Bring drinks and snacks.  There is plenty of choice for refreshments in the village or maybe bring a picnic lunch.
