From Disley church car park the walk goes to Macclesfield Canal via Ryles Wood. Then south along the canal and turns east to Green Farm, entering Lyme Park at West Parkgate. It then passes Paddock Cottage on the way to the National Trust cafe and back to Disley church via the Cage.
We normally stop for a drink after about an hour walking and we stop for lunch at about 12:30 so bring along a hot or cold drink and a packed lunch.

Disley St Mary's Church car park, up Red lane to the left of the Rams Head pub, then left to the church at the T junction. Those going direct to the start to please contact the leader in case of any late changes.
