A circular walk starting from Lamberhurst Vineyard, from Lamberhurst we walk down towards the village then towards and through the Scotney castle estate before our assent through the woodlands of Kilndown village pond. We then walk through the village of Kilndown though woodland and farmland before arriving at Bewl. We walk some of the perirmeter of Bewl reservoir before returning to Lamberhurst.
Please bring a picnic lunch. There are no cafes / toilets en route.
This walk will be muddy, and there will be two wooden bridges which are likely to be slippery. There is also one short but steep slope leading down to a stream.
This walk is 10 miles approx.
Free parking is available at Lamberhurst business park (adjacent to Lamberhurst Vineyard). Car sharing is encouraged where possible.
