We are the Evesham Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This walk has some great views over Winchcombe and the surrounding area and passes close to the steam railway. It's a steep walk up to Abbots Leys but we can go slowly, the reward is great views, we then track downhill. We go through the fields of Gretton to Stanley Pontlarge, up another track to cross the Gloucestershire Way, back to Langley Hill Farm and the very quiet road into town. A couple of fairly steep climbs but lots of flat walking through open countryside.
A few stiles but mainly kissing gates. Possibility of some sheep. Likely to be muddy in a couple of places if it's been raining. Suitable for dogs on leads.
Starting Point, Back Lane Car Park, £1 all day, card or cash. Toilets available, 20p.
