Overview

This is a 6 mile walk starting in Winchcombe, there is a steady uphill climb early on across fields with a great view at the top. We then follow tracks and cross fields dropping down into Gretton where we can stop for a snack break. We then follow more tracks and cross fields and streams towards Stanley Pontlarge, there are quite a few stiles on this section. There is another significant uphill climb which we can take slowly, there is a great wood carving to see at the top. We then follow a bridleway across the top of the hill and drop down through Langley farm following a quiet lane back to the start point. Suitable for well behaved dogs on leads.
