We are the Kingswood Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
From the Park & Ride car park we will walk along the side of the football pitches to reach Bath Race Course, walking by the side of the race course to Prospect stile where we will get good views over Bath and the Marlborough Downs.
We will walk part of the Cotswold way down to North Stoke where we will stop for a drink. Feeling refreshed it will be a steady climb up to Lansdown golf course ,with good views over Bristol and across to the Severn bridges, then it is a flat walk by the side of the golf course to the race course and back to the park and ride.
On our way back to our cars we could stop for a drink at the Charlcombe Inn for refreshments before we reach the football pitches.
Meet outside the toilet block at Lansdown Park & Ride, Bath - BA1 9BJ. There is a £3.00 MiPermit fee for all day parking payable for those arriving by car. Payment can be done in advance via the MiPermit website, or on arrival via a mobile, or by using the ticket machine next to the bus stop, which takes payment by card or coins but does not provide change.
