We are the West Midlands 40+Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A pleasant flat walk with some interesting sights and engaging country side. Starting at the canal basin at the crossing Of the Stafford upon Avon Canal and the Lapworth Link, which we use to reach the Grand Union Canal. Leaving the canal we pass through the woods and fields of the Warwickshire countryside. Our route takes us close to the currently closed Wroxall Abbey Hotel and St Leonard's church (which isn't closed). We return via Hay Wood and Baddesley Clinton, back to the Canal junction. Bring packed lunch as required. It might rain but there again it might not.
