Overview

A varied circular walk of just under 8.5 miles, starting from the Brome Hall Lane parking area at Kingswood Junction: the canal basin where the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal meets the Grand Union Canal.

The route includes the Lapworth Locks, the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal, the Parish Church of Lapworth, the Tapster Valley and a section of the Heart of England Way. The walk uses good paths (a mix of towpaths, quiet lanes and field paths) with a number of stiles. There are a couple of gradients providing views across the Warwickshire countryside in springtime.
