Meet - Glasgow Central Station (Lower Level) at about 0935 for the 0948 train to Larkhall Station, a return ticket is required.
This is a circular walk from Larkhall Station down Millheugh Brae across the River Avon and walking into Chatelherault Park, stopping for lunch at the Chatelherault Park Visitor Centre and then returning to Larkhall. Possibly visiting the famous haunted Applebank Inn at the end of the walk before climbing the hill back to Larkhall Station. There are a few short steep bits particularly towards the end of the walk.
