Launde Abbey

This 18-mile walk starts at 9am from Launde Abbey, East Norton, Leicestershire.  LE7 9XB, it’s a picnic.  
This countryside trail takes you across the farmlands and past a number of historic sites around Tugby, Loddington, Launde Park, Leigh Lodge, Belton-in-Rutland, and Allexton, with significant, rolling, and sometimes steep hills traversing the Leicestershire ridges.

Mix of paths, fields, and some roads; can be very muddy in sections, especially in wet conditions.  It’s a long distant hike.
