This is a generally level walk along good tracks, some pavement, a cycleway, canal towpath and a few field paths. Setting off along the outskirts of Leamington over the so-called Campion Hills, then dropping down to the River Leam at Floodgate Spinney. Continuing through woods and fields to the village of Offchurch with alleged links to the Anglo-Saxon King Offa of Mercia. This will be our lunch stop, with the Stag pub offering refreshments for those who want them. Then to the Offchurch Greenway – a former railway line, now a cycleway, to the Grand Union Canal. The final stretch is through the Leam Valley Nature Reserve and Newbold Comyn Country Park.
Post walk refreshments can be obtained at the pub next to the car park
