Overview

Leave your car at home, or park for free in Leatherhead, for this 7 mile linear walk from Leatherhead to Dorking Railway Stations. We shall follow the valley of the River Mole but at an upper level, so we get the chance to pause for refreshments at the kiosk at the Sawmill in Norbury Park. After starting through Leatherhead and alongside the river, we have one road crossing (of the A246) and then woodland paths and spectacular views across the valley. We later drop down past Chapel Farm and across Denbies vineyard to Dorking Station. No steep hills.

Trains back from Dorking to Leatherhead run frequently, even on a Sunday. It is not advisable to try and park near Dorking Station because there is a car boot sale there every Sunday.
