Overview

From Ledston village Ken Murray will lead you across fields and 2/3 stiles to Ledsham. Then follow Coffin Road (track/footpath) through fields and woods to Fairburn Ings Nature Reserve VC where we will stop for a picnic lunch. Cafe and Toilets available.

After lunch we will take a circuit of the Nature Reserve with a panoramic view. Those with binoculars will have the opportunity to see a number of birds - herons, egrets, cormorants, spoon bills etc (fingers crossed). If we are really lucky - a kingfisher?

we will return through the visitor centre where we will have a short break before returning across the fields to Ledston village (Whitehorse pub).
