Starting from the old station car park off Linton road , there is a bus route from Leeds to Wetherby. A moderate fast paced circular walk from Wetherby, through Collingham-Linton-Woodhall-Sicklinghall-Stockeld Park- to Wetherby. Primary over tracks , (that can get v muddy if it rains).Approximately 10miles.
The walk takes in the lower Wharfe Valley, the pretty villages and back ginnels of Collingham and Linton , the gentle rolling countryside of the lower Wharfedale valley, as we head to the highest point at the top of Woodhall and Sicklinghall, where a lunch break can take place, before walking through Sockheld park, across the main road through to the old railway line along the shared cycle route back to Wetherby.
