The walk meanders through Leigh Woods reaching Paradise Bottom and then descends to the River Avon. We walk beside the river until we reach Nightingale Valley and ascend to the finish. Mainly on well-defined, hard surface paths but also very likely to be muddy in places.
Meet by the coffee cart on the Leigh Woods side of the Suspension Bridge. Parking on both sides of the Suspension Bridge is time-limited and paying. If you plan to park near the Suspension Bridge, you are advised to "research" ahead of the day of the walk.
Bus 8 (frequent), 5 or 505 (? half-hourly) to Christ Church or Clifton Village stops then walk. Allow 15 minutes to walk across Suspension Bridge to start point.
Coffee stop part- way on walk. Bring own coffee/snacks.
Refreshments available in Clifton after walk.
