Overview

Undulating, hilly route through woodland and fields. Initially heading East through Franks Wood, toward Holmwood. Returning via Anstie Grange, Redlands Wood, Abinger Forest and Dukes Warren. Great views. Some stiles, lane walking and animals in some fields. 1,450 ft of total ascent/ descent with 4 ascent stages. Poles advised. This walk will be at a moderate pace. Bring extra snacks. Coffee break in the open mid morning. Chance to stock up on cake etc at Leith Hill tower near the end.
