Starting outside the Sun Inn pub in Lemsford we head south brushing Hatfield Garden Village and on towards Symondshyde Wood. On the way we pass by a set of Bee colonies. There are approx 30000/60000 bees in each one. There are 20 of these on this site. During the summer the bees travel up to 6/8 miles seeking the best nectar to bring home to their hive.We also pass by 3 Brewers Taproom at Symondshyde Farm. From here return back to Lemsford via Cromer Hyde and Brockett Hall. Everyone is invited to the Sun Inn for a post walk beverage and a chat.
Please park with courtesy around the village.
There is no need to pre-book or contact the leader in advance. If already a Ramblers member ,please bring your Ramblers card (or membership details on the app) as we submit a register to Ramblers before we start the walk. Totally new members are allowed to come on up to three walks before joining.
