Overview

Meet at 10.30 at Abbey Wood station (Elizabeth line).  Join Dominique for a three-and-a-half mile circular walk through south-east London woodland, the atmospheric ruins of Lesnes Abbey and the Monks’ Garden, hopefully seeing native wild daffodils or wood anemones. Learn the history of the abbey, a scheduled ancient monument founded in 1178.
