Starting from Levington Marina, the 7 mile morning section follows paths beside the Orwell towards Trimley before returning for a lunch stop on the beach near Loompit Lake. The 5.5 mile afternoon route heads towards the pretty village of Levington and an optional pub stop at the Ship Inn before returning via Nacton Shore, with more great views of the river. The Harbourside Kitchen cafe at Levington Marina may be open before the start of the walk and is another optional stop at lunchtime.
Park beside the road on the right as you approach the entrance to Levington Marina. Please park facing into the hedge so as to maximise space. There is no parking charge.
