Overview

The walk starts with a tour around the grounds of Lilleshall Hall, a grade ll* listed former country house and now a National Sports Centre. We will also visit Donnington Wood and Lilleshall Abbey, and climb to the monument on Lilleshall Hill. Joint walk with Sandwell Ramblers and Wolverhampton Ramblers.

We leave the meeting point in Walsall promptly at 09:00am.  The start time is the time the actual walk is due to start.
Please arrive at the start at least 10 minutes before the advertised start time to allow a prompt start.
We regret we cannot allow dogs other than assistance dogs on weekend Walsall Group walks.
Walkers should check on www.sandwellramblers.org.uk that the walk has not been cancelled before leaving home.
If a member has a medical issue which may affect their participation on the walk, please advise the walk leader before the start of the walk. Please inform the back marker if a comfort stop is needed or if you are leaving the walk early.
Personal medication, e.g. asthma inhalers and angina sprays, must be carried by the walkers themselves.
All walkers should carry an ICE card or a contact number in case of emergency.
Booking is not necessary for this walk.
Walkers will need a packed lunch.
Please notify the leader if you intend to travel direct to the walk start.

Lilleshall Hall National Sports Centre. Leave Walsall by A5 towards Telford and at A41 island take A41 towards Whitchurch. After about 1.5 miles turn L into King Street. Keep ahead to B4379, turn L at T-junction then almost immediately R into Lilyhurst Road then R into Sherriffhales Drive to find car park on R.
