This is a mainly downhill walk to Maidstone some assent to the top of the north Downs before descending to Maidstone walking through woods and fields. Bring snacks and drink, plenty of cafés and pubs in Maidstone. Return using the 130 bus from King Street bus stop K times 14.05 and16.05.
