Linear walk from top of Talyllyn pass to Dolgellau. From the car park the route ascends alongside the A487 which it then crosses & descends through fields to cross a small stream then an ascent on a damp path to the high point on open moorland with extensive views of the Mawddach estuary. The rest of the walk is a general descent to Dolgellau on paths, tracks & minor roads through fields & open woodland. Optional lunch will be taken in one of the Dolgellau establishments.
This is a bus ramble using the T2 bus dept Aberystwyth at 0935 from Stand 4 arriving at walk start 1045. The return T2 leaves Dolgellau at 1503 arriving in Aber at 1625. PLEASE CONTACT LEADERS TO BOOK A PLACE (limited Numbers).
