Overview

Figure of eight walk from Little Eaton to Duffield, Quarndon, Duffield, & back to Little Eaton.  Two smallish climbs, 500ft highest point. Some steep steps out of Duffield so poles might be useful.  Fabulous views from Bunster Hill and across to Drum Hill.

Risk assessment:  The walk leader has assessed this walk for the following risks, but during the walk others may become evident.  Good footpaths & decent stiles.  You should remain stay alert and take individual responsibility.

The group does not stop at cafes or pubs for lunch, and you should bring enough food and drinks with you to last the whole walk. We usually stop for a coffee break an hour or so into the walk, and stop for packed lunch around 1230-1300 although weather and a suitable location will affect both timings.
