Overview

A circular walk of 8 miles starting from the Watermeadows National Trust car park passing through the delightful villages of Windrush, Little Barrington and crossing the river Windrush to Great Barrington. There is a uphill stretch from Barrington mill to Great Barrington, otherwise the route is generally undulating. A little road walking also will take us past the edge of the Great Barrington and park and then over fields with nice views back to the start.
