We are the Livingston Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting from McArthur Glen Designer outlet we will follow footpaths through Almondvale Park to the outskirts of Livingston Village & on to Peel Park returning to Livingston Village & up to Kirkton before arriving back at the start point. Along the way we will discover some of the history of Livingston & from the highest point in Peel park we get a good view of the bright lights of the town & may be treated to a view of the stars if the skies are clear. Paths are mostly surfaced & lit by streetlamps but please bring a headtorch if you have one & want to be sure of more light.
Toilets are available at the start/end in the McArthur Glen Outlet.
Opposite The Newyearfield pub just inside the McArthur Glen Designer Outlet at 6.45pm.
