Here is your opportunity to walk a truly outstanding section of the Anglesey coast path and which is different to previous Ramblers walks I have offered here. We will pass Point Lynas with the chance to see dolphins, porpoise and gannets. We will also visit a remote rocky beach and, if the weather is suitable, the summit of Mynydd Eilian. The walk will also include inland paths you are unlikely to have walked before, so come along and enjoy exploring them in this very attractive part of Anglesey.
We will also visit Mike’s “Hobbit House” for a chance to warm up as we sit around the fire - so don’t forget to bring your picnic lunch!
Moderate walking for 7 miles with no drop-offs or gradients, with about 250 metres of ascent. Paths are uneven, narrow and muddy in places so stout footwear is required and you may find walking poles helpful. Bring waterproof clothing as the weather in November can change quickly on this exposed coastline.
Please note that there are no toilets at the start point of this walk. The nearest toilets are in Lôn Goch, Amlych LL68 9AL opposite the Co-op.
Booking is requested. Please text me, Dave M on 07908 128768 and I will confirm your place.
This walk is not suitable for dogs because of livestock.
The walk will be postponed or cancelled in the event of a severe weather warning issued by the Met Office. Notice of this will be given on this page of this website so please check here on the day before the walk.
