The walk starts via lanes to Lloyney and then a steep incline up onto Goytre Hill. After this the path still climbs, but more gently, over Wernygeufron Hill and eventually joins Glyndwr’s Way. Still going up we then steeply ascend Pool Hill where, on clear days, views stretch from May Hill in the south to Snowdonia in the northwest.
After lunch we descend Pool Hill, follow the path past Hen Hafod and then return along Cefn Craig to join the lanes back to Everest Hall.
Lots of super views, quite a few gates but only two stiles. However, this is remote upland countryside and has very little shade or shelter. Please, make sure you have sun protection, sunhats and plenty of water, as well as waterproofs.
Registered assistance dogs only.
Bring a packed lunch.
If you would like to join this walk please book a place with the leader. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your booking so that someone else can take your place. Do not turn up for a walk without booking, as we may have to turn you away.
Car sharing is encouraged to minimise car parking, fuel cost and carbon footprint.
