We are the Welshpool Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The Welshpool Ramblers walk on Sunday 3rd December 2023 will follow a circular route. Starting from the Llanidloes Gro car park the route follows the Glyndwr Way towards the north-west and before turning to the east. Leaving the Glyndwr Way we walk through Brithdir woods and then cross Afon Clywedog. The remainder of the walk follows a track with good views over the river and returns to Llanidloes via Short Bridge street.
All welcome, but no dogs on the walk, please (except registered assistance dogs by arrangement).
Note that if the free Gro car park is full, street parking (check signs for restrictions) or the alternative Mount Street car park (subject to charges) can be used.
