This moderate to hard walk starts with a long steady climb (with a steeper section) following the Clwydian Way up onto the col at 1450feet, the highest point on the walk. The long steady descent mainly follows the Dee Valley Way. All on good paths and tracks with some stiles. Total elevation approx 1800 feet. Wonderful views all around.
The Horseshoe Falls car park - £5 for the day payable with cash or card but free to National Trust members who need to display their membership card - no card scanning facility. Toilets on site."
