Overview

A long loop walking around Gwaunceste Hill, on mainly high, open ground. Views across to  the Brecon Beacons and down to Llandegley rocks weather permitting; rolling hills, big skies and a sense of space.

Parking on either gravel lay-by or cut grass at the side of the lake. The turning off the A481 is on the left, not long after leaving the A44. Car sharing advisable to reduce number of cars.
