We are the Moray Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This walk is a coach trip embarking from Lossie Green Car Park, Elgin @ 08:00
Pick up via: Keith & Huntly.
We walk through Muir of Dinnet National Nature Reserve, past the North bank of the Loch heading towards Boggerfool. From here we head South West across open moorland, then turning East and visits the Burn O'Vat. We then make our way along the Southern banks of the Loch back to the start point.
There is a shorter leisurely walk option around Loch Kinord which also includes a visit to the famous Burn O'Vat.

Please Note: The ‘Estimated Finish Time’ shown below is when the walk is estimated to end, however the walk start time can vary due to conditions on the day. On our return journey to Elgin, the coach has a stop-off for ‘refreshments’ therefore we cannot give a fixed time for our return to Elgin.

Please Note:
Each [Saturday or Sunday] coach journey will be £15 per head.
If you have registered to attend one of our weekend walks but fail to attend a charge of £10 will be levied.
If you want to walk at the weekend but don't want to book a seat on the coach, we ask that a donation £5 towards the costs associated with arranging the walk.
Please Remember. Good walking boots / shoes are essential, gaiters, waterproof jacket and trousers and poles are advised. Bring food and drink for the day.
All walkers must carry some form of ICE (In Case of Emergency) identification. This includes your name, mobile number and next of kin contact name and number.
Toilets: At the start & end of the walk, there are no toilets on the route.
