Overview

A lollipop walk starting along the Loch Leven heritage trail, then heading up to the village of Kinnesswood. It then heads around the back of the village, through Kilmagad Wood and down to Scotlandwell. The walk rejoins the outward route and back to the start. We should get good views towards both Bishops Hill and Benarty Hill.

The route is on good paths along the heritage trail although may be muddy. The walk up through Kinnesswood is a steep pull up the street . The path through the woodland is undulating with several short ascents and descents. The paths may be slippy when wet. Gaiters and poles may be useful.
