Loch Morlich and Rothiemurchus Lodge

Cars can be parked for free at the roadside beside the Hayfield car park (which costs £4). From the car park we follow a path alongside Allt Mor towards Cairngorm, cross the ‘Reindeer Bridge’ and head uphill, past the reindeer enclosure and continue through a gully to Rothiemurchus Lodge. From there we follow the main track to the lodge down to Loch Morlich and then head east alongside the loch and back to the Hayfield. Subject to recce, may be adapted.
