From the car park, we'll walk along the road for about 30 minutes up to the entrance to Farley Wood. The road section is uphill, and steep in a few spots, but the views behind you out over Beauly Firth are enough to keep you going! We'll walk along forestry track in Farley Wood, through peaty moorland, to Loch nam Bonnach, which is a stunning remote loch; Glen Ord Distillery actually use the water from this loch to make their single malt! We can have a lunch stop there, then continue on the track to loop back around and come back down the road to the car park. It's definitely wet and muddy in places, so bring good footwear.
Please signup by contacting the walk leader by 7pm the day before at the latest.
