Inverness Young Walkers is a walking group for people aged 18+ based in the Highland capital, Inverness. We aim to not only explore the beautiful area that we call home but also offer a sociable setting for great chat and excellent company.
We offer a varied programme throughout the year which includes mid-week evening walks and longer weekend walks. We love exploring woodland paths, coastal trails and hilltops whilst appreciating nature, geology and history along the way. Our group is a great place for new walkers and seasoned walkers alike and you'll always receive a friendly welcome.
We also arrange standalone social get togethers and following a walk, often end up sampling local cake, tea and ice cream where possible.
We aim to offer as many walks as possible with public transport access to the start and end point. Where this isn't possible, we encourage car sharing to reduce our environmental impact.
