I will be starting the walk from Waterloo Station at 10:45. So you will need to have used the loo and got coffees etc before then ready to leave pronto.
I will make a coffee stop along the Southbank at Gabriels Wharf where toilets and coffee are available.
Then I will make my way along to St Catherine’s dock for lunch around 1pm. There will be lots to see on the way. Here the Dickens pub has toilets, and for those who fancy it, a swift half will be available. Lots of lovely areas to sit and take in the sights.
After lunch I will carry on making my way to Wapping, pointing out anything of interest along the way. I did find during my recce, that most of the pubs along the way accommodated those of us with weak bladders!!!
Ending the day at Wapping at the Captain Kydd pub on the river. An old smugglers hostelry. Tea/coffee and stronger tipples available as are loos.
With regards timing here, I estimate finishing around 3/3:30, having walked around 6.75miles, all flat.
To return to Waterlooo, Wapping tube is about a 2 min walk. From here you catch the Windrush line to Canada Water, then jump on the Jubilee line to Waterloo. Journey takes approx 17 mins.
Checking out the train times going up in the morning this info may help: there are two time options that would work

To keep costs down, group save is worth considering, or if you have senior railcards etc this helps to reduce the cost also. From experience, the sooner in advance a booking is made (either on line or at a station) the cheaper the cost.
For travelling on the tube, a debit, credit or Oyster card can be used.
There will be coffee and lunch stops so please bring your own refreshments (see the above)
